   Points to remember for yogic practices

 
  1. Maintain Yoga sequences strictly (i.e. Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayama and Relaxation).
  2. Take guidance from a qualified yoga teacher.
  3. Have a medical check-up to enable the teacher to prescribe what exercises you require.
  4. Do not eat anything at least half an hour before and immediately after doing yogic practices.
  5. Wear loose dresses.
  6. Use a carpet or blanket for the floor.
  7. Practise in a well-ventilated room.
  8. Do not wipe sweat with a towel; only rub off with the palms.
  9. Avoid alcoho, smoking, spicy food and coffee.
  10. Avoid yogic practices during illness and while extremely fatigued.
  11. Keep the mind calm and free from anxieties.
