Points to remember for yogic
practices |

- Maintain
Yoga sequences strictly (i.e. Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayama and
Relaxation).
- Take
guidance from a qualified yoga teacher.
- Have a
medical check-up to enable the teacher to prescribe what
exercises you require.
- Do not
eat anything at least half an hour before and immediately
after doing yogic practices.
- Wear
loose dresses.
- Use a
carpet or blanket for the floor.
- Practise
in a well-ventilated room.
- Do not
wipe sweat with a towel; only rub off with the palms.
- Avoid
alcoho, smoking, spicy food and coffee.
- Avoid
yogic practices during illness and while extremely
fatigued.
- Keep the
mind calm and free from anxieties.
